With the current circumstances and our lives inevitably changing because of them, we are having to pivot so fast to keep up with what is happening to the world. It is changing the way we have to operate our businesses and it's calling us to connect with our tribe even more.

Those of you who know us well know that we run a Design Fair through Precinct 75 where our studio and HQ resides. Now that markets are no longer viable, many of our makers and designers will be faced with some tricky and bold choices about how to move through and navigate this new world.

So, in showing our support to them we are going to be sharing with you the plethora of makers, crafters, artisans and designers that we know and love. Stay tuned as we interview them and extract from them their processes and what makes them unique.

Handmade, Australian made kidswear label

What is your creative process when it comes to designing and/or making your products?

We love to find great quality fabrics and prints that we know our customers will love! From there we design our range based on the season and currents trends, all the while aiming to set new trends of our own.

What do you see as your brand’s most valuable point of difference?

The fact that we make and design everything ourselves right here in our home in Sydney, and also that our clothes are made to last. We use quality fabrics and our designs give your little ones time to grow in them!

Gingham Check in Mustard

What do you love most about being a small artisan business?

The fact that we get to meet and see our customers face-to-face so often and so happy. Be it an expectant couple, friends or family buying for a new baby on the way, simply buying something new that they love and know will last for their toddler, or spoiling that niece or nephew that they don’t get to see as they live in another country but love to Facetime with.

Every meeting always comes with a story and that’s what is so special about our business and meeting our customers.

Where would you love to be in 5 years?

We hope to continue to grow and bring you more and more styles and designs for your treasured little ones.

Poppy and Pom operate via markets and therefore their income has been slashed.

You can show your support by purchasing via their instagram and sharing some love with them.
