Who are you and what do you do?

We are an intimate wellness brand, dedicated to making chic and stylish products for your most sensitive body parts. We aim to breakdown the taboo and stigma around this category. I am the founder and run all things Fig Femme.

How did the business come about?

To be honest, I noticed a lack of products in this category that resonated with me. After the birth of my first child, there was a complete lack of care after post birth and felt that we as woman deserve better.

Best career advice you have ever received?

To be honest, I have never personally received any career advice. However admiring many different mentors from a far, I would say that it is to truly believe in yourself and your products.

Worst advice you have ever received?

None.. because all inspiration I received from admiring many different mentors always gives me room for improvement in myself and my business.

What is one thing we should invest in for our business?

Definitely a business lawyer and an accountant. It is so important to set up your business correctly from the beginning.

What is one thing you wish you had known when starting your business?

That there is going to be a world wide pandemic.

What is your favourite part of your day to day?

The morning before my children wake up and I can have few moments for myself to gather my thoughts to prepare myself for the day.

What was an unexpected joy of creating your business?

Realising that women out there really need education and supports within this intimate wellness category. It is sad to think that so many women suffer in silence because of embarrassment.

Leave us with some words of wisdom?

You really need to believe in yourself and your business. If you are not fully behind what you are doing then you will never be successful.
