THE JOURNEY CONTINUES....

2017 has begun. For some 2016 blended into the next without notice or too much fuss. But for me it has been a noticeable step. I am not alone in the fact that I am super busy, I constantly have a long list of 'To Do's' and it doesn't end. One thing after another gets added, ticked off and complete and to be totally honest, I love my lists. I love the satisfaction of completion and accomplishment, even of the smallest of tasks.

So, with 2017 I have chosen to move more slowly and more calculated. Starting off by nurturing me and my family. Committing to time for us and giving to our family what it needs after a crazy busy year, it is well deserved.

As I sit here, on the steps of this little Robinson Crusoe cottage in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in Indonesia, surrounded by fields of Marigolds, rice fields and palm trees, I ponder, (actually there is not much else I can do) and dream, let my mind drift to the life I want to live this year and I feel totally calm. I actually feel present with a knowing that I am on the right path and that I am exactly where I am meant to be, for now.

The Life Style Edit had a wonderful birth year thanks to you all. It was in Bali a year ago that the concept and story of The Life Style Edit was born and to be sitting here a year later looking at what we have created, what we have produced, who we have worked with, I am very chuffed to say the least at what we have managed to do.

What 2017 holds is unbeknown, anything is possible.

What I do know is that we are continuing to work with great brands, we have projects underway that will surprise and delight you and hopefully inspire you. We will continue to work with amazing designers, artisans and craftsmen to bring you the Edit of what inspires us.

So as we slowly emerge from the relaxed state of being that we are currently in, I promise to be back on board early Feb to get the show on the road.

In the meantime, Emma is on board at TLSE headquarters, sitting in the big desk handling what needs to be done. Until then follow my Bali journey on Instagram and dream with me of what is possible for 2017.
