Recently we spoke with some of the team behind MOO, who shared more info on what goes into a MOO product and where they turn to for design inspiration…..



[T] MOO prides themselves on fast delivery - in just 4 days! - how do you maintain such a quick turn around with your products?


[M] We know that delivery is important to our customers, so we work hard to manufacture and ship our orders as quickly as possible, in some cases within just a few hours of receiving the order.



MOO is rated 9.6 out of 10 on Trustpilot; how do you maintain such a high standard?


We have an award winning customer service team who are on hand, 24 hours a day, five days a week. Customers will always speak to a real person, we don't do automated robot chat. Then there's the MOO promise, making sure all of our customers aren't just satisfied, but thrilled with their products. All of the teams within MOO go to great lengths to make that happen. Even if customers aren't totally happy, or spot a mistake once the products are delivered, they will get their money back and a reprint for free.








MOO’s designs range from business cards and postcards through to stickers and note cards. Which of your designs are most popular among businesses?


When MOO originated in 2006, business cards were our hero and only product. They still remain our most popular product today - accounting for around 70% of our revenue. Over the last 10 years, we've introduced a wide range of additional products into our offering, including flyers, postcards and notebooks. And this is ever-expanding! A high percentage of our customers opt for our 'design your own' option when using MOO, however, of our templates our most popular are ones called Simply Logo and If The Shoe Fits. Our special finishes are also very popular on business cards - customers can choose between gold foil, spot gloss and raised spot gloss elements on either (or both) sides of their cards.



MOO prints and packs all products by hand in your warehouses; can you tell us more about the process?


We have a fantastic team split across our warehouses in the US and the UK. With our wide range of paper options, our printed products start life on one of our large digital printers. They are then cut to order, quality checked and packed for dispatch by hand. The MOO promise means if we spot an issue while packing the cards, we reprint it! Nothing is sent until it gets two thumbs up.



The MOO blog features a range of design tips and tricks; where does your design team draw inspiration from in their day?


The design team here work on variety of different projects from creating imagery for the website, stands for events and multiple marketing materials. It is important for them to draw inspiration from a range of sources. Pinterest and design blogs are great, but we also like to get out and experience new things to help inspire us.

Every month we have a team outing to a museum, event or workshop - these are so valuable in inspiring us and keeping us close to what's popular or on trend at the time.
