Last month, a few of us indulged in the opportunity to escape up to Byron for some work - and play! During our time we met with some wonderful people and brands, soaked up the sunshine, and enjoyed some delicious food. If you're like us, you probably think food might just be one of the best parts of traveling, and the opportunity to experience local produce is always welcomed. We think of it as a moment of pause to take in our surroundings and expose our taste buds to the flavours of the community. That's a good enough excuse, right?
Cape Byron Platters crafts an assortment of local produce hand picked from artisans in and around Byron. They offer grazing platters to accomodate any party size; from intimate to grand gatherings. Choose from fresh seasonal fruit platters, indulgent chocolate brownie platters, artisanal cheese and salumi platters, or an assorted dip platter.
We had the pleasure of experiencing one of their beautifully crafted platters - an assortment of cheeses, salumi, dips, fruit, with a fresh baguette and crackers - fit for queens! After a long day of hopping around Byron, we were thrilled to have a quiet afternoon at home to spoil ourselves with some fabulous eats, paired with a bottle of rosé - of course. Our special platter was delivered straight to our door, exquisitely presented, ready for us to be spoiled.
