As the leaves start to change and the temperature drops, wave goodbye to your bikini and dig out your blazers. While we're all for floral mini's, light linens and flowing maxi's, Autumn brings a more elevated theme to office and weekend wear. We opt for a favourite pair of pants over shorts, or a tailored shirt over a tank. Autumn is the perfect time to experiment with new stylish pieces to keep on rotation for seasons to come.

Wearability is in and trend-hopping is out, with a return to practicality seen across the runways of the Fall/Winter23 New York Fashion week last month. With suiting, layering, oversized silhouettes and tote bags a common thread on the catwalk, we've collated some of our favourite investment pieces for the change of season, so saying goodbye to Summer isn't so sad.

Denim Dominates

Fashion's unwavering obsession with denim is here to stay, it's easy, casual and wearable for any shape, style or taste. We've seen the rise of denim maxi skirts, wide leg jeans and even denim on denim ensembles. Whatever your stance may be, one thing is for sure - the "Canadian Tuxedo" is a unique and quirky trend that is here to stay this season. So, don't be afraid to rock a chic denim outfit with confidence and attitude, and show the world that you're a fashion trailblazer.

Time for Totes

Not just fashionable, but functional too. Move over, mini bags - it's time for the big leagues. Perfect for carrying all your essentials and more, while also making a statement, find yourself a quality tote bag to carry you through Autumn, Winter and beyond.

Maxi Skirts are a must

Level up your business to bar look with a classic maxi skirt. Pair with an oversized blazer and or chunky knit and your favourite boots for a simple and classic Autumn look. Try linen, silk or even denim for a funky look!

Tailoring is here to stay

From structured blazers to fitted trousers, tailored pieces are versatile, sophisticated, and most importantly, flattering. Whether you're going for a casual or formal look, a touch of tailoring can elevate any outfit and make you feel like a million bucks. For a more relaxed vibe, opt for an oversized fitting set.

Finish the look!

What's an outfit without some stylish sunglasses? The cherry on top of your look, having a faithful pair of sunnies in Autumn is key to your staple wardrobe. Yes, you heard that right - sunglasses are not just for summer. Why not have a bit of fun with your sunglasses? Try oversized, tinted lenses or even retro style for an effortlessly cool look.

So embrace all that Autumn brings. Sure, it can be tempting to cling onto the last bits of summer, but trust us - once you embrace autumn fashion, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. It's time to layer up, experiment with new textures and colors, and most importantly, have fun with fashion. So, get ready to fall head over heels for autumn fashion and all its quirky, cozy, and stylish glory.
