From the talented chef that brought Som Chai to Bali comes Hujan Locale - an elegant dining location in the heart of Ubud that celebrates Indonesian cuisine with a fresh and innovative spin.


Will Meyrick is known for his ability to combine his deep respect for street foods and traditional methods with fine dining concepts. True to this style and Will’s extensive skills, Hujan Locale honours and celebrates the farm to table practices that are elemental to Indonesian cooking - sustainably grown produce, home smoked and cured meats, and locally sourced organic vegetables form the foundations of the menu. As well as the classic all-day eats, Hujan Locale offers Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Nut Free options. Possibly the only thing that excites us more than the mouth-watering food menu is the extensive cocktail menu, with signature drinks and twists on favourite classics - all equally refreshing and delicious of course.


The space is understated but beautiful, featuring exposed ceiling beams, big open spaces, cascading plants, simple timber furniture and windows that open up onto the streets of Ubud. An Ubud opportunity not to miss, when in town.
