How to Integrate Reels into your Social Strategy, and Nail it!

Instagram Reels have fast become a non-negotiable when considering your social media strategy and planning, it's hard to ignore the fact that they've practically taken over the platform. If you've been living under a rock, reels offer users the ability to record and edit short videos up to 90 seconds long to share with their followers and reach new audiences on Instagram.

Plan Your Reels in Advance


Before you start recording, take some time to plan out your Instagram Reels. Decide on the content you want to create and consider the message you want to convey, the music or sounds you want into integrate or even the trend you want to jump on board. You can create a script or storyboard to help guide your video-making process or save previously created sounds and templates to give you a head start. Keep in mind that Instagram Reels are short and audience attention spans are even shorter, so your content needs to be concise and engaging.

Instagram Reels are all about visual storytelling, so make sure you're using high-quality visuals and audio. Use good lighting, and consider using a tripod or stabiliser to keep your shots steady.
