A NIGHT AT THE OPERA X ICEBERGS DINING ROOM AND BAR

If lockdown has taught us anything, it's how much we take the simple things for granted - like eating out. Here at TLSE, dining out is one of our simple pleasures and something we love to do as a team, so we have been itching to get back out there and enjoy a delicious (outsourced) meal! Luckily for us, loads of restaurants adapted to the restrictions by making at home meal kits and takeaway menus, but since they are open again - we want to make the most of it!

With warmer weather on its way and the seemingly endless sunny days, it's the perfect excuse to get to the beach - or rather, above the beach (close enough, right?). Perrier-Jouët is teaming up with Icebergs Dining Room and Bar to celebrate this iconic restaurant's reopening, creating their very own 'A Night at the Opera'. Restauranteur Maurice Terzini's Icebergs has panoramic views of the gorgeous Bondi Beach, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so you can soak up the rays and enjoy the views. This dinner and show style evening is the perfect date night or midweek treat - who says you need to wait to the weekend to enjoy yourself?

The evening will feature widely renowned opera singers Anna Dowsley and Jonathan Abernethy, both being recipients of the prestigious Australian Opera Award - so even if you're not a self-proclaimed opera fan, you certainly will be after this evening! This dramatic Italian and French opera experience will certainly rid you off those mid-week blues, and will leave you feeling like you've been transported to the European summer without leaving Bondi.

With great music comes great food - Terzini has created the ultimate four-course 'greatest hits' set menu, featuring Icebergs classic dishes, Beef Tartare; Koshihikari Risotto with Blue Swimmer Crab; Pan Roasted Blue Eye Trevalla or Icebergs Signature Salt Crusted Boneless Rib Eye; Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio; and Terzini Salad. Even better - each dish is paired perfectly with Perrier-Jouët’s cuvées including Grand Brut, Blason Rosé and Blanc de Blancs.
