THE TRAVEL EDIT - NOOSA

I want to apologise in advance as this post is very, very late. We have been setting up our new studio space which I will introduce in the next post and it has taken all our time and energy. Hopefully we are back on track.

Stay tuned for updates.

Here is our 'Travel Edit'.

At this time of year I am still very attached to sunshine and warm weather and not quite ready to let it all go, so we planned a trip to Noosa. Where the sun seems to always shine and the water in the sea is warm.

If you are looking for a quick trip away to re-boot, re-kindle, re-align, then this my friends is the answer.

This is my Noosa Edit. The must haves for a perfect trip and my little black book of contacts.

We checked in to Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas nestled in the serenity of Noosa National Park. Our view was to die for and we were amongst the birds singing and the tunes of the bush turkeys below. It was the serene space we needed. The resort prides itself on eco-conscious sustainability with solar energy and rainwater irrigation. An added bonus and a feature we loved.

World class shopping and restaurants are a short 500 metre stroll away in bustling hub of Hastings Street and Laguna Beach. With the water temperature around 24 and the sun shining, our days started and ended here.

Our Mornings consisted of long coastal walks through the National Parks working off the calories we'd consumed the day before. There are no shortage of wonderful cafe's and restaurants here and in Low Season you can walk off the street into a table

Venturing a little out of main street noosa we visited the coastal village of Peregian. Apparently this is the place that the cool kids moved to when the Noosa rents got too high. The style of shops and the village suited us more and we fell in love with this place. They have a great selection of Interiors, homeware and gift stores.

For Eats

visit Pitchfork Restaurant Modern Australian using local ingredients, and they are licensed for a sneaky holiday glass of wine with lucnch
