If you haven't heard of the Moonlight Cinema - you'll be wishing you had sooner. This outdoor screening experience is a must-do and a summer staple here at TLSE. I mean, what better way to spend a balmy evening than at an outdoor cinema with your own cheese, wine and closest friends? If we didn't love this place enough, they've just partnered up with leading beauty brand Garnier! As the official Green Partner and Beauty Sponsor for the 2020-21 Summer Season, Garnier is teaming up with the Moonlight Cinema to help make sustainable beauty more accessible, as well as supporting the cinema onsite with education initiatives around recycling and sustainability.
The Garnier Garden Cart will be an onsite pop-up from January 2021, and is a great spot to learn more about Garnier's pledge to reduce global environmental impact through the 'Greener Beauty' initiative. Garnier will also be donating $2 for every ticket sold nationally from the Presenting Partner screenings of 'I Am Greta' on January 20 to the Aussie non-profit, clean up movement 'Take 3 For The Sea'.
"As Garnier works to transform the beauty industry, we are proud to support Moonlight in its ongoing efforts to preserve the environment in which it operates. The integration of paperless ticketing, recycling stations and the use of biodegradable materials at all venues as well as Moonlight Cinema’s partnership with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), demonstrates a real commitment to sustainable business practices and values," explains Garnier Marketing Director, Jane Hanger.
So, what better excuse to treat yourself to a well-earned summer screening after a long year than by supporting a cause committed to environmental sustainability? For more info on screening times and bookings, click here.
